At ground level is in reality far from at ground level

as it depends on the point of view of the beholder, especially if the beholder reckons that he could save money. The location of the machine was announced to us as “at ground level”. “Easy disassembly and taking out”.

Easy to carry out, if an obstacle in form of a window would not have stood in the way. A window, which – according to what was confirmed to us - was supposed to be broken out prior to the arrival of the disassembly team. This has not been done, instead, the machine was supposed to be taken out under the most adventurous conditions – among other things using for support disposable pallets - at the side of the building (out of a window at approximately 3 m height).

It was logical that we could not accept this on safety ground alone. Following lengthy negotiation we managed to persuade the owner of the machine that the ONLY way to take out the machine was through the window.

Unfortunately, it was not possible to execute the disassembly on that day. Therefore the disassembly team had to arrive the next day again. These costs could have been avoided!
